Intel has announced a new app store that will be called AppUp aimed at netbook computers. The apps will be available for free download and some will be purchase apps. They will span multiple categories from business to games and much more.

The apps will run on Windows netbooks and those running Moblin-based operating systems. Support for other runtime environments will be added later in 2010. Manufacturers participating in the AppUp store include Acer, Asus, Dell, and Samsung among others.
