Booq unveils new airport-friendly laptop bag for Macs

By: (more) | Laptops News | Posted: Jan 15, 2010 5:07 pm

For most of us what bag we carry our notebook and gear in when we travel is really an afterthought. However, it is something that you should think about considering how much time you can save by not having to fight with getting your notebook in and out of the bag for security.

Booq has a new laptop bag called the Taipan that is designed to fit 13-inch MacBooks and 14-in PC notebooks. The notebook side of the bag is well padded and designed to let x-rays through the bag so you don't have to remove it. The bag opens 180-degrees to allow you to place it flat on the security conveyor belt.

The bag has a removable shoulder strap and the handles can be tucked away. It can be carried on the shoulder or like a brief case and it has a waterproof exterior. Pockets for accessories, pens, paper, and other items are built-in as well. You can get the Taipan now for $89.95.
