Samsung unveils HZ35W and HZ30W cameras

By: (more) | Cameras News | Posted: Jan 19, 2010 5:38 pm

One of the things I missed when I went to my DSLR rather than a point and shoot was the huge zoom levels that were just built into my old camera. My DSLR can get high zoom levels, but you need to spend big bucks on a telephoto lens.

If you want lots of zoom, the Samsung HZ35W and HZ30W cameras will meet your needs. Both of the cameras have a 15x optical zoom and 12MP sensor. Both cameras also have 24mm wide-angle capability.

The difference comes in other features. The HZ35W has GPS for geotagging and a 3-inch AMOLED screen. The HZ30W lacks the GPS capability and has a 3-inch TFT LCD screen. Both cams have dual image stabilization and much more.
