Pentax pulls the wraps off new digital cameras

Pentax has been making digital cameras for a long time and the company has cameras ranging from cheap point-and-shoot units up to expensive DSLR cameras. Today Pentax unveiled three new point-and-shoot cameras.

 

 

The new cameras include the Optio I-10 designed to look like a film SLR camera. It has a 5x optical zoom lens, 12.1MP sensor, 2.7-inch LCD, and can capture 720p resolution HD video at 30 fps. The camera has settings like smile shutter, face recognition, and will ship in February for $299.95.

 

The H90 has 5x optical zoom, 12.1MP sensor, and 720p video recording along with other auto settings. It will ship in February for $179.99. The final camera is the E90 selling for $99.99. It has a 10MP sensor, 3x zoom, and a large 2.7-inch LCD. It will ship in February as well.
