Kingston DataTraveler 5000 is secure enough for classified DoD documents

When it comes to the US government exchanging classified documents with other countries, they take security to a different level.

Kingston has announced a new ultra-secure flash drive called the DataTraveler 5000 that is approved by the US government and the DoD for classified and unclassified documents. The flash drive uses 256-bit AES encryption and has an XTS cipher mode with elliptic curve cryptography.
The drive is FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certified and Level 3 certification is pending. Kingston offers the drive in 2, 4, 8, and 16GB capacities with pricing ranging from $111 to $400.
