Sony unveils VAIO E notebooks in bright colors

By: (more) | Laptops News | Posted: Feb 2, 2010 5:32 pm

For a long time the only color, options you really had for notebooks were black or blue. Today there are more notebook colors to choose from with pink, white, red, and many more. Sony has dropped a new line of notebooks today that have colors that would make the Easter Bunny reach for his shades.

The VAIO E line can be had in bright colors like coconut white, gunmetal black, lava black, hibiscus pink, iridescent blue, and Caribbean green. Optional skins can be purchased to give the keyboard a contrasting color and a mouse with two colors can be ordered too.

Aside from the bright colors, the notebook uses Intel Core i3 or i5 CPUs, up to 500GB of storage, up to 8GB of RAM, and features WiFi and Bluetooth. Sony claims the machines are good for up to 3.5 hours of use per charge. Pricing starts at $799.
