Team Group to display tidy USB 3.0-ready 2.5-inch enclosures at CeBIT

By: (more) | Connectivity & Communications News | Posted: Feb 26, 2010 9:53 am

Team Group gives the heads up on two upcoming 2.5-inch external hard disks it looks forward to launching during CeBIT next month.

The TP1022 is USB 3.0-ready and can be purchased in capacities of up to 640GB, whilst the cheaper TP1021 is also offered in capacities of up to 640GB, but sticks with the USB 2.0 interface. Both are self-powered by the USB connection alone.

The TP1022 will of course be the one most will be interested in due to its USB 3.0 support. It uses an aluminum casing with anode sandblasted surface treatment which makes it finger-mark and dirt-proof. It can be purchased in three colors; golden, silver and coffee and comes with a leather bag to use when carrying it around.

For further information on both the TP1021 and TP1022, head over to our press room and get the full rundown.
