Wacom has a range of products that are mostly centered on getting pen-based input into a computer. Most of the products are aimed at graphics pros that need to be able to draw directly on the screen for digital artwork and other uses.
Wacom has announced a newly updated Cintiq 21UX that is set to ship in April. The display is the most advanced pen technology that Wacom offers. The new pen used on the display supports 2048 different pressure levels. This allows the user control over line style and other features.
The screen is 21.3-inches and has a resolution of 1600 x 1200. The display has a pair of rear mounted Touch Strips along with Touch Strip toggle buttons that let you have instant control with four buttons for each app used. The buttons can be mapped to functions like zoom and brush size. The Cintiq 21UX will sell for $1999.
