Danamics' LMX liquid metal CPU cooler test results impress

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Mar 9, 2010 10:29 am

For those of you interested to see how well things have been improved upon with one of Danamics' latest CPU coolers to make use of liquid metal cooling technology, the folks over at RealWorldLabs got hold of the LMX model which uses an electromagnetic pump fed power by a double height 3.5" bay sized device called the PowerBooster.

The test results are fast to speak for themselves and show that Danamics' homework has paid off in producing a vastly improved design over what we'd originally seen. The only real downside (apart from the sheer size of the unit, requiring a good amount of available space) is price. You'll be forking out somewhere in the vicinity of 160 Euros (around 215 U.S.).
