Western Digital has more external storage solutions than you can shake a stick at not to mention the gobs of HDDs the company has for use inside a computer. WD has announced a new external storage solution that is aimed at a different crowd called the My Passport AV.

The drive has 320GB of storage space and can be purchased now for $109.99. WD has designed the drive specifically for streaming video and the device supports direct connections to mane USB equipped devices.

The drive will plug directly into Sony Camcorders with the Direct Copy feature. It will also connect directly to your PS3 or Xbox 360 for video playback as well as other devices including TVs. The drive can also be connected directly to Windows and Mac computers for transferring video and other files to and from the hard drive.
