AMD to bring higher clocked six-core Phenom II in Q3
Following on from yesterdays posting which gave us a clear picture on what's to come in the initial wave of Phenom II X6 six-core desktop processors, we learn today that there will in fact be amother higher clocked model coming sometime during Q3 that will rise above the performance of the 1075T (clocked at 3GHz).

While the model name for this particular chip hasn't been disclosed yet (though we wouldn't be surprised if AMD slapped Black Edition in there somewhere), the source is confident it's coming and will likely come clocked in at 3.2GHz along with a TDP rise to 140W.
This still won't be enough to rein supreme over the performance levels Intel's Core i7-980X is capable of, but at the right price it may well be quite the seller all the same.
