MEDL Tech drops portable 13-inch LED backlit LCD

By: (more) | Displays & Projectors News | Posted: Mar 22, 2010 5:00 pm

I like to use big screens on my computers. Anything smaller than 24-inches and my workflow is compromised and productivity suffers. I like to get multiple windows open side by side. I could use a second monitor, but I like my desk space as well.

If you are an on the go type needing a second monitor for your notebook, MEDL Technologies has unveiled a really cool screen. The screen measures 13-inches and is LED backlit. The thing has internal rechargeable batteries for working away from an outlet.

The screen resolution is WXGA and it weighs 2.2 pounds. It has a built-in stand to prop it up and can be connected directly to other devices like the Xbox or PS3. The screen works with Mac or PCs and needs only a USB connection to work.
