Patriot Bolt series Flash Drives come with 128-bit AES encryption
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAFor those of you often on the go with your precious data which you want the comfort of knowing is locked away from access by all others, Patriot is soon bringing their new Bolt series USB flash drives to market.
The highlight of the drive is the native 128-bit AES data encryption. If the drive so happens to end up in the wrong hands, after 10 consecutive attempts to unlock it with the required password the drive will format itself.
But apart from this, the drive isn't unlike the gazillions of others floating around on the market with rated read and write speeds of 27MB/sec and 13MB/sec respectively, whilst capacities will range from 8 to 64GB and pricing from 25.90 EUR up to 310 EUR.
