While we were at CES this year we stumbled upon a company named Eye-Fi. They had an interesting product that was really not much more than a method for moving your pictures from an SD card to a computer using WiFi technology.

At the time we thought these were a pretty neat idea but the capacity and speed of them was just not quite there. Well now Eye-Fi has upped the stakes. We have heard that they are pushing the speed up to Class 6 and that the wireless speed is now 802.11n.

This is pretty impressive considering that the cards are no bigger than a standard SD Card. You do not need anything else to get use them over the air. There are two new cards out now called the Connect X2 and the Explorer X2 (4GB and 8GB respectively). With each you can easily upload your pictures to Flickr, Picasa, Facebook, YoutTube and many others. With the Explorer you get an extra bonus (in addition to the extra storage), you also get automatic geotagging (through WiFi).

The cards are $49.99 for the Connect X2 and $99.99 for the Explorer X2 and will work with Eye-Fi's new Eye-Fi Center.
