iTunes 9.1 released today

By: (more) | Software News | Posted: Mar 30, 2010 9:24 pm

As I am sure is no surprise to anyone, Apple has pushed out a new version of their favorite media software iTunes. This new installment of DRM on your system brings support for the iPad. The update gives you the ability to buy and sync movies, and iBooks with that soon to be released device.

Of course as with most new versions of iTunes you can expect a download of about 100MB and some time to make sure all your apps and media are still there. Thankfully there is usually not much to worry about, although I have had one kill off a few imported files before.

If you want the new flavor of iTunes or are preparing for that iPad on Saturday head over to Apple and grab it.
