iTunes 9.1 still cannot see Outlook 2010
Ah more fun news from the world of Apple. Not too long ago we reported that iTunes was having some problems with Outlook 2010 beta. The fact that a current application was not able to sync up with a beta version of Outlook was troubling, but not too big of a concern. After all Outlook is still a Beta.
Well now we do have some larger concerns. It seems that the latest and greatest version of iTunes (9.1) is still not able to see or deal with Outlook 2010. This is a problem (in my mind at least) because there has been a public version of this software out since mid-2009. I would have thought that Apple would have fixed the issue (which is not really much more than looking for the PST and OST files in another directory) by now.
Office 2010 is supposed to hit the retail shelves this summer. I am hoping that this is fixed by then or there could be more than a few Office users very unhappy that they can no longer sync contacts and calendar entries.
