Geek tries to sell iPad on eBay for $10K
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAOver the weekend, the iPad launched and as it turns out there was plenty of stock in many locations around the country. Some Best Buy locations reportedly ran out, but most Apple Stores had plenty iPads.
I am sure that fact disappointed one geek who tossed an iPod on eBay for $10,000 with free hand delivery to any airport around the world. Apparently the auction ended in no sale, imagine that.
The auction was aimed at counters other than the U.S. where the iPad didn't launch. The big catch here was that someone could fly from many countries, buy their own iPad, and fly back for less money. It never ceases to amaze me at what people try to sell on eBay.
