New Lucid Hydra driver gives DX11 support on MSI's Big Bang-Fuzion

By: (more) | Software News | Posted: Apr 13, 2010 1:18 pm

MSI has just updated the link to a new Lucid Hydra Driver (1.5.106) on the product page for its Lucid Hydra equipped Big Bang-Fuzion motherboard.

In case you didn't already know, Lucidlogix's Hydra 200 SoC makes something possible nothing else on the market can; the ability to mix up different model graphics cards and from different makers (NVIDIA + AMD) while still getting a boost in performance, much in the same way as how SLI and Crossfire work, but without the restriction of using identically paired cards.

The latest 1.5.106 driver is the first driver that gives full DirectX 11 support with mismatched multi graphics card setups. So if you've got DirectX 11 cards in your Big Bang-Fuzion you'll definitely be wanting to update to the new driver, available at this page.
