Chieftec adds new CH-09 series mid-tower chassis to lineup

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Apr 15, 2010 4:43 pm

Budget conscious case maker Chieftec have just added another cost-friendly but feature packed mid-tower chassis to their lineup in the CH-09B-B-OP.

The case might look a little boring for some, but it gives a good useable array of features and functions with dimenions of 540 x 205 x 480 mm (with the feet folded).

The black coated case gives room for four 5.25" external devices and five internal 3.5" bays (as well as one externally accessible). The internal drive bays include tool-free clips for easy installation of drives.

Chieftec ships the unit with a couple 120mm fans up front and back and there's two mounting spots for additional 80mm fans, too. The case also accomodates for water cooling setups with pre-drilled holes for the tubes at the rear.

The case is said to hit the market later this month.
