Ouch, after a few weekend rumors that Palm might be getting sold the Senior VP of Software and Services, Michael Abbott has decided to fly the coupe and head for higher ground. Michael is the person largely responsible for the WebOS and its success.

Palm had to move fast and drop extra Stock and Cash to a few other key players to get them to stick around. But what is worse than that is the financially shaky company seems to be pushing stocks out to just about everyone on the executive team. Only time will tell if Palm will remain afloat, but it will be a real shame considering their recent comeback.
