Remember that May 7th date we told you about? Well it looks like that is when you will get an iPad if you pre-order them. If you preorder for pickup or just want to drop by an Apple store and get one then you can do that on April 30th. This is a full week before you would see one at your house if you preordered.

We are not sure why the delay on these, but we would have thought that people that are ordering early would get them on or around retail date. After all they were smart and loyal enough to plunk their money down early, why wouldn't Apple get their shiny new iPad to them sooner?

No mater we do think that the launch of the 3G iPad will be much bigger than the WiFi edition simply because it is much more of a mobile tool. We still are considering getting one in for review and will let you know how the 3G flavor works in comparison to the WiFi we have now.
