G.Skill intros Flare series 1800MHz DDR3 kits for AMD users

By: (more) | RAM News | Posted: Apr 26, 2010 7:48 am

G.Skill has just launched its new Flare series high-performance DDR3 memory kits that are primarily suited to the AMD AM3 790 and 890 platforms with AMD C3 stepping CPUs.

The modules are good for speeds of 1800MHz out of the box and come with high quality over-sized heatsinks to better assist in heat dissipation which also gives the potential for a higher overclock ceiling if the user's looking to push beyond the norm.

The modules come in 2x2GB kits and can be purchased with the following specifications :-

• DDR3 1800MHz 4GB (2GBx2) CL6-8-6-24 1.65V
• DDR3 1800MHz 4GB (2GBx2) CL7-8-7-24 1.65V
• DDR3 1800MHz 4GB (2GBx2) CL8-8-8-24 1.65V
• DDR3 1800MHz 4GB (2GBx2) CL9-9-9-27 1.65V

No word on pricing just yet.
