RIM unveils Blackberry Pearl 3G

By: (more) | Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Apr 26, 2010 4:12 pm

RIM has a full line of Blackberry smartphones and they are among the most popular devices on the market. The Blackberry line is used by business types and consumers both. A new Blackberry Pearl 3G has been unveiled today.

The Pearl 3G will likely appeal more to the consumer than the business user because of its form factor, but it has all the features you expect of a Blackberry. The device has a condensed 20 key QWERTY keyboard and supports the web and email.

The handset uses the new optical track pad and supports multimedia files. RIM says the Pearl 3G is the smallest Blackberry device ever. It has a 360 x 400 screen, WiFi, GPS, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. Pricing and availability are unannounced at this time.
