G.Skill gears up with SandForce SF-1200 powered SSDs

The growth of SandForce powered SSDs continues, which is definitely a good thing when you discover the performance advantages that come with it versus competing controllers on the market.

 

G.Skill has just announced its new Phoenix line-up of performance SSDS which make use of the SF-1200 controller.

 

 

Like other SF-1200 based line-ups from competing manufacturers, the Phoenix series of SSDs come in capacities starting at 50GB, moving up to 100GB and 200GB models. Read the writes speeds are a very respectable 280 / 270MB/sec respectively.

 

G.Skill gives buyers of its Phoenix series of SSDs a two year warranty period. No word on pricing just yet.
