NEC unveils new 27-inch PA271W LCD

NEC has pulled the wraps of a new LCD for computer users that are perfect for the professional who needs excellent color reproduction. The new LCD is called the MultiSync PA271W and is set to ship this month.

 

 

The LCD has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and uses a 10-bit p-IPS panel with 14-bit programmable 3D lookup tables. The screen can show 1.07 billion colors out of a pallet of 4.3 trillion when using a 10-bit DisplayPort connection.

 

The screen will also be offered with SpectraViewII color calibration solution. The screen alone will cost $1399 and the screen with the color calibration system will sell for $1649.
