Scythe releases new high-end Kaze "Pro" fan controllers

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: May 12, 2010 1:57 pm

Scythe has just introduced a couple new high-end variants to its popular Kaze Fan Controller line-up in the "Pro" Series.

The two new models differ from each other in that one is a 3.5-inch form factor unit whilst the other accomodates larger 5.25-inch bays.

Where the 5.25" Kaze Pro series differs to standard Kaze Fan Controller is support for two additional fans along with temperature channels, giving the ability to control up to six fans in total with a voltage range of 3.7 to 12v and monitoring via six temp sensors.

The aesthetics have also been worked on in the Pro series with the outer chassis being all-black and the use of a hidden VF-Display that gives fan speeds and temps.

The 3.5-inch Kaze Pro gives control of up to four fans and the monitoring of four temp sensors. The same built-in VF-Display system is used which shows fan speeds and temps.

The 5.25-inch Kaze Pro can be purchased for around 50 U.S. and the 3.5-inch model for around 40 U.S.
