Michael Dell gave the keynote speech at the Citrix Synergy Conference and topped it off with a full minute sneak preview of the new Streak mobile internet device which has been rumored for months. This was the first public demo f the 5 inch long device and Dell advised the device will become available starting in June.

This mobile internet device features built in WiFI, Bluetooth, and wireless WAN capabilities as well as an 800 by 480 touchscreen display and 5 megapixel dual LED camera. It will run the latest Android OS.

Dell made the Streak look like a mighty capable device during the preview. As he showed off the Streak he stated, "The device we use to access our information shouldn't matter anymore. Whether it's a phone, or a notebook, a netbook or a desktop PC, your client image can follow you everywhere. I've got my Citrix Receiver on here; we can log in and capture our desktop. I've got six different desktop planes here, I've got my Android applications, I can see what's going on at Twitter and Facebook."

The initial June launch is slated to be with 02 Telefonica in Europe with the Streak coming to the U.S. later in the summer with AT&T.
