Mach Xtreme rolls out 1.8-inch solid state drives
Taiwanese storage maker Mach Xtreme has just introduced a new series of SSDs that is appropriately dubbed MX-Nano due to its 1.8-inch form factor.

Mach Xtreme's MX-Nano series include models with 44-pin, 50-pin and ZIF PATA interfaces. They are MLC based drives with 256MB of cache and are capable of a max read and write rate of 120MB/sec and 65MB/sec, respectively. They have been given TRIM support and can be purchased in 30, 60, 120 and 240GB capacities.

Mach Xtreme has given the MX-Nano series drives a 1 year warranty. Pricing is not yet known, however.
