MSI working on single and dual-screen tablets

By: (more) | Laptops News | Posted: May 19, 2010 8:14 am

The folks over at T-Break spotted a couple upcoming tablets from MSI on display at the DCC event in Fujairah, UAE which kicked off yesterday.

Whilst they were unable to get hold of any specs, what they were able to do is get a couple shots of the two tablets and ascertain that one uses a 9.7-inch capacitive touch screen with a MicroSD slot and USB port resident. It's said to be shipping with Windows 7 later on this year.

The other tablet they saw is much more interesting with two individual screens that fold up notebook style. The screen on the bottom can be used as a keyboard or for things like two-page ebook reading. This unit is said to be running an Atom platform, also shipping with Windows 7 at launch.

Little else is known about the two models at this stage.
