ASUS launches two new 3D monitors in Taipei - VG236H and PG276

ASUS held a smaller press conference than usual earlier today in Taipei that it used to launch a whole range of different monitors. Two that particularly interested us were the VG236H and PG276.

Both are 120Hz monitors and that means 3D support. Both come certified with NVIDIA 3D Vision ready support and each model will be bundled with one set of NVIDIA 3D active shutter glasses.

They are expected to go on sale towards the end of June and the 23-inch VG236H LCD monitor should carry a street price of around 599 USD. We were unable to obtain a price for the larger 27-inch PG276 LCD monitor.

As far as the specifications go, both come with Full HD 1080p support, a 2ms trace free response time and Color Shine technology for more vibrant colors. Watch our video above from the event for a closer look at both of the new monitors from ASUS.
