GIGABYTE has won the race in bringing to market the first mini-ITX form factor motherboard that features SuperSpeed USB 3.0 support.

The GA-H55N-USB3 is quite the little number for a HTPC builder if you want premium features and future-proofing in a small footprint from the get go. Despite the m-ITX size, the board packs in all the good stuff from GIGABYTE such as Ultra Durable 3, 3x USB Power, On/Off Charge for Apple devices, DES2 (energy saving), DualBIOS and the star of the show, USB 3.0 support via NEC's controller onboard.

As the model name implies, this is a H55 chipset motherboard with support for LGA-1156 Core i3 and Core i5 processors with integrated graphics. You also get a PCI-E x16 slot for your video card of choice if more graphical power is your desire. There's also suppor for up to 8GB of memory and looks to be enough room surrounding the GPU socket to mount a reasonable sized cooler.

All in all, could make for quite the impressive HTPC or LAN gaming build if you want something small with a good mix of features and power.
