By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Jun 7, 2010 9:22 am

Swinging out a final playing card in closing of Computex this year, Thermaltake has bettered its line-up of high performance Toughpower series power supplies with some new 80 PLUS Gold Certified models.

The new Toughpower Grand series sport a sleek glossy black finish with rounded edges and currently there are two models in the series; a 650W and 750W.

The PSUs are of modular design and carry a highly impressive efficiency rating of 92% and use high quality 105c capacitors, 0.95 active power factor correction (PFC) and are compliant with the ATX 12v 2.3 and EPS 12v 2.92 standards. The units boast a fat single 12V rail and are cooled by a 140mm dual ball-bearing flower shaped fan.

Thermaltake has set MSRPs of $169.90 and $189.90 on the 650W and 750W Toughpower Grand series of PSUs, respectively.
