TI unveils a pair of new Sitara ARM APUs
When it comes to mobile devices of all sorts a bunch of them are powered by ARM-based processors. Texas Instruments has announced pair of new ARM Cortex A8 Sitara APUs today.

The APUs operate at 1GHz and promise almost a 40% performance increase compared to previous Sitara APUs. At the same time performance increases, the power consumption of the new APUs drops by up to 30%.
The new APUs include the AM3715 and the AM3703. The only difference in the two parts is that the AM3703 is for uses not needing graphics and the AM3715 supports fluid and complex 3D rendering with OpenGL ES 2.0 support.
