Google Maps Navigation 4.2 has been launched in 11 European countries for Android 1.6 devices and higher. The countries now covered are Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland. Google Maps Navigation is an internet-connected turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation system usable on Android phones.

The program will help you search for destinations, including layers for points of interest, gas stations, food stops, and anything else you may want to see on your road trip. If your device has Android 2.0 and above, Search by Voice is available now in French, German, Italian, and Spanish in addition to English.
