Office 2010 now available globally

By: (more) | Software News | Posted: Jun 15, 2010 5:04 pm

I have been working with Office 2007 for a long time now and have finally got used to the new layout. Microsoft has announced today that Office 2010 is now available globally. I haven't heard anything that makes me inclined to upgrade personally.

If you need Office, the new version will be what you get or if you want to upgrade you can now do that too. Office comes in three versions including Office Home and Student 2010, Office Home and Business 2010, and Office Pro 2010.

The big issue for me and many other folks with Office is that the program is crazy expensive. Even the student versions are getting to be very costly. Microsoft is offering Office 2010 in 10 languages and will expand that to 94 languages soon.
