Logitech's Google TV companion box dubbed "Revue"
In confirmation of Engadget's scoop on Logitech's CE4100-powered Google TV box, Logitech has posted on its own Blog site that their Google TV companion box will in fact be called Logitech Revue.
Logitech were inspired to use the word Revue as the meaning behind it is a type of multi-act theatrical entertainment which combined music, dance and sketches that were highly popular back in 1910 - 1930. Logitech says the word fits in with the Google box incorporating all elements of what Logitech is reknowned for.
Logitech Revue is a companion box and controller that brings the experience of Google TV to your TV screen. It combines everything on the Web, cable or satellite content, apps, video calling and more that will be wildly popular between 2010 and 2030, until we reinvent interaction again.
You can stay tuned with all the latest news on how Revue is coming along at this page on Logitech's website.
