Best Buy offers WiFi only Nook at $149.00

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Jun 21, 2010 7:04 pm

Most of us aren't out and about with our tech enough to spring for the extra cost associated with 3G hardware inside. This is the reason that many folks jumped on the WiFi only iPad rather than the 3G version.

A lot of the eReaders on the market include free WiFi, but we know we are really paying for the WiFi in the cost of the device. Barnes & Noble has been rumored to have a WiFi only version of the Nook coming for a while now.

That WiFi only Nook has now turned up on BestBuy.com for pre-order. You can order up the device for $149.99 with delivery set at July 3 if not a few days earlier. The WiFi only device has a 6-inch screen 2GB of storage, microSD card slot, and more.
