Microsoft releases Windows Live Messenger client for iPhone

By: (more) | Software News | Posted: Jun 22, 2010 11:28 am

Microsoft are rolling out official Windows Live Messenger support today for the iPhone in the US, Canada, UK and France. A new client is now available for download and gives almost all the same functionalities as what you are used to having on a PC, whilst being streamlined to suit the iPhone for ease of use.

Microsoft paid close attention to the native style of the iPhone when developing this client for deeper integration and better familiarity. Check out the streaming video below where you can see it in action before you decide to install it on your iPhone and try it out.

You can view more screenshots of it and some of the finer details at the WindowsSteamBlog page. And here is the download link if you're based in the US, Canada, UK or France.
