Shuttle is all about compact computing and has one of the largest lines of SFF computers. Typically, these small machines are bare bones rigs that the user has to finish off. Shuttle also has machines that are ready to go.
This week Shuttle showed off a new machine called the X350 Slim that is ready to work. It has a thin profile about 1.5-inches thick and can be mounted behind a TV or a PC monitor. Shuttle claims it is one-third the size of its previous slim computer.
Inside the small chassis is an Atom D510 CPU. An optical drive is also included and the machine gets its graphics prowess from the new Ion 2 GPU from NVIDIA. An optional HDMI out connection is available and orders of the X350 will start this week.
