Panasonic RP-HC700 noise cancelling headphones launch

By: (more) | Audio, Sound & Speakers News | Posted: Jun 23, 2010 7:06 pm

Panasonic has unveiled a new set of headphones that are designed to block outside sounds with active technology. These headphones are perfect for the frequent traveler. I wish they would block the sound of a spouse talking.

The headphones are called the RP-HC700 and claim to block 92% of external sounds by creating sound waves that cancel out sounds. The headphones fold flat for storage and use a single AAA battery to power the active noise cancelling hardware.

Panasonic is offering the headphones now for $199.99. They use 40mm drivers with Neodymium magnets for deep bass and quality vocals. The ear pads are covered in synthetic leather and padded for comfort.
