Seagate unveils new BlackArmor NAS 400

Seagate has announced a new addition to its line of BlackArmor NAS servers. The new addition is the BlackArmor NAS 400 device. The new NAS server ships without any HDDs for more flexibility.

The device supports Windows, Linux, and Mac computers. It has four HDD bays, four USB ports, and a pair of Gigabit Ethernet ports. It ships with 10 licenses for Windows backup software.

 

The server is RAID 0/1/5/10 enabled and as security and encryption to protect data. The server supports remote access and can be used as a DLNA or iTunes server. The NAS 400 will sell for $399.99.
