Kinect pricing made official at $149

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Jul 20, 2010 10:25 pm

Microsoft has made the rumored $149 USD price tag official in an announcement today. Rumors had the price swirling anywhere from $80 to $200, but this announcement solidifies the price for all the preorder jumpers out there.

An Xbox 360 bundle with the Kinect, Xbox 360, and Kinect Adventures game will be available for $299. This Xbox 360 will be replacing the original Arcade console; sporting 4GB of Flash memory and a matte finish to differentiate the console from the glossy new Xbox 360 unit. All other specs will remain the same including the front and back USB ports, a Kinect-specific I/O port, and built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi.
