Dell Streak presale includes a 99 cent headset

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Jul 21, 2010 4:53 am

Dell is trying to drum up some more excitement for the U.S. release of the Streak, their 5 inch "not quite a tablet not quite a smartphone" mobile device. For those who are on the fence about preordering, Dell is throwing you a bone in the form of a 99 cent Plantronics Bluetooth headset when you preorder through their site. No specific launch date is there, though.

Dell is currently collecting information and email from interested parties for a "exclusive 24 hour pre-sale purchase window," possibly giving those on the list a crack at the Streak a day earlier than the general public. Free two-day shipping is also being offered. With an expected pricetag of $500 USD for the unlocked version of the device, the goodies and free shipping may help those who are waffling due to price.
