Asus tablet now planned to launch running Android
It didn't take Asus long to make a major change to their plans for the EP101TC tablet that was announced at Computex. According to a member of the Eee Pad team at Asus, their 10 inch tablet will be running on Android instead of Windows CE as originally planned.

Slated for a Q1 2011 launch, the tablet will most likely hit shelves running Froyo but depending on when Android 3.0 hits the mainstream, it's possible that this tablet will run with that out of the box. It will be interesting to see the differences when this bad boy hits the display at CES.
