Skype for iPhone now has iOS 4 multitasking support
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AATired of having to pause everything else you're doing while using Skype on your iPhone? Worry no more. Skype's iPhone application got an update today with multitasking support for iOS 4 devices such as the 3GS and the iPhone 4.
With Skype 2.0.1 for iPhone, switching out of Skype while on a call makes youre status bar blink red with the app's name displayed on the line below. Tapping that bar brings you back to Skype. The upgrade also allows the user to use iOS 4's fast app switching and notifications allowing Skype calls to bge received even when the Skype app is not running.
