G.Skill announces new 48GB DDR3 RAM kit

The kit has 12 hand-picked 4GB DIMMs and is specifically designed for machines using the EVGA Super Record 2 mainboard. That board has dual Intel Xeon CPU sockets.
The mainboard also supports 4-way SLI and more. I can't imagine the performance you could get out of a rig using a pair of 6-core CPUs, 4-way SLI, and 48GB of RAM.
