$149 Android Tablet coming to......K-Mart?
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAK-Mart isn't exactly the first place you'd expect to find the latest technology for sale, but their weekend circular showed the Augen Gentouch, a 7-inch Android tablet, will be hitting their shelves. Augen stated the tablet would indeed be on sale at K-Mart "later this week" and it will be $149.99 USD.
The Gentouch is shown as an Android 2.1 tablet with WiFi, 2GB of storage and 256MB of RAM. Android Market is stated to be pre=loaded on the device. Augen also has an $89 e-reader device with a Linux based OS hitting shelves at about the same time, but Augen was not sure if K-Mart would make it available at their online store.
