Panasonic micro four thirds cameras get 3D lens

Panasonic has been peddling those slick micro four thirds cameras in the Lumix G series for a while now. The little cameras have interchangeable lenses like a DSLR.

The Lumix G Micro System cameras have a new lens option coming before the end of the year. The new lens allows the camera to shoot 3D photos. The lens puts two optic elements inside the diameter of the lens mount.

The way Panasonic builds the lens it is able to shoot 3D images of moving subjects. The two images taken at once are processed with software to make a 3D image. Pricing on the lens is unknown.
