Parrot AR.Drone up for pre-order ships September 3
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAOne of the coolest things that was at CES this year was the Parrot AR.Drone. The cool helicopter device with four propellers is controlled by the iPhone and has a camera built-in.
If you have had a serious Jones for the thing since it debuted and have been waiting for pricing and availability information here it is. The AR.Drone will ship on September 3 for $299.
$299 isn't cheap, but I honestly expected the flying thing to sell for more than that. This will be a cool toy on many a geek's holiday wish list this year.
