By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Aug 4, 2010 6:12 pm

Clearwire and its partners/resellers are the only 4G commercial networks available for consumers right now. Clearwire has announced a cool new 4G mobile hotspot specifically designed for Apple devices called the iSpot.

The iSpot is a small device that is for Apple devices in name only. It will work with any WiFi enabled device. The little portable hotspot supports up to eight simultaneous connections. It can last for about four hours per charge.

The device offers 4G speeds up to 6Mbps on average. The iSpot will sell for $99.99 and is available today. The best part is that it requires no contract and 4G service is only $25 per month for unlimited use.
